1823 Bakery

Third time in town and wanted to find a nice little coffee shop. Had a mocha and chocolate covered peanut butter bar.
Both were amazing. Highly recommend!

Thank you for you kindness today. I explained how I was passing through town on my way home from Kentucky and it was my dads birthday today and they went out of their way for me. They even got me a tea light to sing to him along with wonderful goodies.

I love this place. It is worth the trip for any gluten free bakery hunters. I have had a pie, donut, brownie, cinnamon bun, and bread pudding from there. If you need to burn some calories (so that you can eat more than one pastry) take a walk around Franklin. It's adorable and there are some really great antique stores.

I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very nice cafe with so so many specialty flavors of tea that I have never seen before. There is something for every tea lover. I tried the quiche and it was delicious. I tried the frosted brownie and the German chocolate brownie and they are by far the best brownies I've ever had. They are really fudgy creamy with a hint of crispy sweet crust. A must try!
