Big Woods Franklin

One of my favorite restaurants in Franklin. I like that it's usually quiet. If it's nice, sit outside overlooking the golf course. If ordering an appetizer select the barbecue nachos or the pretzel and beer cheese. I really enjoy the bbq sandwich or the fish sandwich. If you visit in a Tuesday order the tacos. Definitely get the skillet cookie for dessert.

One of Big Woods' several locations. Good restaurant in a golf course clubhouse. The pizza and beer are the most notable choices; however, the other menu options are modern American dishes with several healthy options.

If you go around dinnertime, expect to wait. It's popular and the building isn't huge. If you want the best Big Woods experience, go to the original one in Nashville, IN or the Hard Truth Distillery location also in Nashville, IN.

Food and drinks were good, but the service needs some work. Hostess was not welcoming at all. Our waitress was extremely slow and forgot our refills on more than one occasion. As in she came to the table and asked if we would like refills, but then forgot to bring them. She came back several minutes later empty-handed. Multiple times. The place is in the middle of a country club, so the views are terrific. They are usually packed at dinnertime, so they recommend reservations on Friday and Saturday.

Food was decent. Customer service needs improved on.
Atmosphere is definitely different then their Nashville establishments. This building needs some asssistance.
