Runway 19 Coffee Co.

The coffee was good. The ham and cheese croissant was also good but after I ordered and got my drinks I sat down and the three people working this afternoon went out on the patio and started taking photos of each other? Confused I thought someone was possibly making my sandwich around the corner of the kitchen. Turns out 15 minutes later when they came back in they realized it needed made.

I understand boredom when it’s not busy and there was nothing wrong with a little photo shoot once all the orders were completed, but this was frustrating. I’ll return but hopefully this kind of situation doesn’t happen again.

Coffee was fantastic and staff was friendly. We got the toasted Marshmellow iced latte and the clear skies. The mid-century modern decor was on point. Loved it.

My first time there was on 10/10/23. Really great atmosphere. I ordered the spinach egg bites and the lavender lemonade. The egg bites were good (very good for vegetarians) and the lavender lemonade frozen blended drink which was really good as well. I sat outside by the fire and was really warm in the chilly air. They have a walk up window also inside the front gated area. They allow dogs in that outdoor space. They have indoor and outdoor seating and tables. I will have to try their coffee next and maybe a sandwich or something. So far it's all positive. I really like Runway 19.

I come from a coffee snob family and unfortunately it's just in my genes to be a tad picky. I just moved to Indy and love visiting coffee shops. My go to for a new coffee shop is a Dirty Chai then I explore their house blends and I've been disappointed many times recently and this one is just *chefs kiss*.

AND a bonus is it's by the airport (obviously), so my Aviation & Coffee lovin' heart is happy. I can sit outside or drive 20 sec away to see the runway and watch while enjoying my treats from Runway 19 Cofee Co.

While I didn’t get a chance to try any of their food or bakery options, I did however get a Carmel macchiato that is delicious! Super well presented coffee joint with a spacious outdoor area. The service was a bit slow which is expected for new businesses, but everyone was extremely nice. Highly suggest!
