Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

A fan of the occasional dinner at Golden Corral every few weeks. Not the usual location that I go to so it was interesting to note the differences... This location was clean and well kept with friendly staff. The food seemed fresher with better taste than my usual location. Other locations I have been to have the dinner rolls at the buffet so your able to have as many as often as you like. This location however you have to ask your 'server' for them and you will only get one per person at the start. If you want more you will have to track down someone to get you more. Also unless your only planning one trip to the buffet make sure you arrive more than an hour before close. We arrived an hour before close and the supply was running low. By 30 minutes many items were out and no longer being replenished. The ladies room was in desperate need of attention. All in all not worth the premium weekend pricing this late in the evening.

Nice hot food they keep it moving nothing ever stall always fresh. Staff is nice and pleasant depends on hours and days it is much quieter the other's.... other than that it's very reasonable when it comes down to money especially if your feeding a large group.. staff is pleasant....overall a wonderful place to go eat at

As with any buffet restaurant, there are good & bad things that can be said. Our experience is mostly good. The servers are friendly, they treat us well. They are pretty busy but still manage to bring drinks & remove used dishes regularly. The food is pretty well stocked at all times although when it's busier it can run low. You may see spills from time to time but they try to stay on top of that also. They bus tables rather rapidly after customers leave so others have clean tables.

I am Diabetic with Kidney Disease, so my diet is fairly restricted. The salad bar is always so fresh and has lots of healthy choices, including the vinegar and oil option. Their steamed broccoli and cauliflower are good, and the baked fish is cooked nicely. On Sunday and at dinner, they have been having a beautiful roasted turkey, but I can't say that will continue after the holidays. My husband is happy with the breakfast options available whenever we go for lunch, and loves the fried chicken and mini cheeseburgers. The service is friendly and prompt, so we are very pleased to recommend the Golden Corral in Greenwood, IN!
