Checked this place out Friday and it was excellent! The lobster dip was the best I've had, I had the Pork and apple bowl and the wife had the bourbon chicken sandwich, everything was great! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful as it was our first time there, the house old fashion was really good, fun little spot and we will be back for sure!!
I was surprised by the short menu, from the description of the friends who recommended it, I thought it would have a 20 page monster. But, I'd rather go somewhere that has limited choice as long as every item is of excellent quality. Obviously, my visit today for lunch gave me only one point of reference, but I will say the garlic butter chicken I had was about 4 levels above excellent. The menu description sounded great, but that written piece was only a shadow of the reality. It was superb plus. This is one of those cases where I've found a dish I like and will be tempted never to try anything else there and just keep re-ordering that one. But I understand that other stuff may be as good or better, so next visit I will venture into the unknown, and will try the honey chicken from my friends' recommendations. The prices were slightly higher than I generally spend for lunch, but I can't say it was wasted money since the quality was right up there near the top. I've had better meals but I've paid a LOT more for them. On a cost/benefit analysis (I worked for a career in accounting!), this was perhaps in the top 3 of my historical meals. Another great point is that you got enough, it wasn't one of those pansy places where you pay $15 per bite for a microscopic serving. About half-way through, I thought about stopping and taking it home for later, but I could not stop eating due to the outstanding taste profile. It's about a 15 mile drive from my home, but even with the high price of gas, the drive is well worth it. Go! You will not be disappointed :)
Very good food, good service, a bit pricey.
We heard of this new place getting rave reviews so the family and I checked it out. It seems to have previously been an auto repair shop type building that was retrofitted but kept the industrial look. The name literally comes from the address which is memorialized in wall tiles next to the overhead garage door. All of our food was very good and not a long wait despite being fairly busy. The drink menu looked good for another time without the kids. Overall a great experience, nice ambiance, friendly staff, cool decor, and great food. I feel confident in recommending this restaurant, the menu has something for everyone.

Wasn't sure what to expect on my first trip to Destination 814... now I can't wait to go back! This little gem is in a small town in NE Indiana but it could be in Chicago or Houston or Indy. Our meals were delicious, service great, the drinks were fantastic and the decor was very cool! Will be back.
This restaurant is new and was opened by the former owner of the Copper Top restaurant.
There is an extensive beer selection although the taps weren't working so we couldn't get a draft beer. The menu is large and the food is good. I had a party melt that came with fries. My wife had chicken tenders that came with fries and Cole slaw which was also good.
One of our friends had a breaded tenderloin which was huge. He ended up taking half of it home. The server was friendly and attentive and checked back on us several times.
It's a small place and we got there about 4:30 so we were seated right away. When we left at 5:30 every table was taken and people were waiting outside to be seated. All in all it was a good experience. Great to have a quality restaurant in Lagrange
