Lighthouse Restaurant

A great surprise from my husband to take me here for a date. The food was fabulous. The lobster soup was my favorite. Unique decor... We will be going here again.

4.7 stars. 10 oz fillet, garlic mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach and mushrooms, crab cakes, buffalo shrimp were all very good. French onion soup also good. Nice atmosphere. Service was timely and friendly. Will be back to enjoy lakeside location this Summer.

Food was quite good, burger was great and the offered portion sizes are rather large.

Expensive to eat at, however the chocolate cake there is delicious.

Walleye was good, however the lemon butter was not that lemon-y. Unfortunate for the price that was paid, but it may have just been a simple mistake.

Grouper was flavorful and a very large chunk, and garlic potatoes were flavorful, though the garlic was not too noticeable.

Atmosphere was nice, very low-lit and calming, although the room closest to the lake has a sort of "hot then cold" type of cycle.

Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and helpful, and was delighted to help us out with any issues or questions we had.

Wow, a really nice restaurant with very good food and not your average type either. This a upscale restaurant with a full bar. Lots of space and nicely decorated. The place gets very busy so reservations are a must! Dress attire can range from business casual to full suit and tie. No roll out of bed look here. Wait staff is average from my experience, but i expect a lot from upscale restaurants. Good parking and use maps if you've never visited. Great for large groups and parties.
