“Great Harvest is a place like no other. When I saw they had one here, you have no idea how happy it made me. I had a craving for their Ham and Cheese roll, so I gave them a call to get some on order. They were able to make a special order (Ham and Cheese roll in their Garlic and Cheddar dough) set just for me and let me tell you how amazing they are (were). I will be requesting this again, and maybe it will become a regular version. Oh, pic 3, you know I had to grill it. You guys are awesome. Thank from Alaska”

“We will surely return to enjoy meals here again! Yet, we will request to sit upstairs. Who knew they had a basement…my husband said it was more intimate. I did not like the dull decor and lack of creativity. They do have TVs on the wall if you want to catch a game while dining. If they design the basement like they did upstairs, then I’d give atmosphere 5 stars. Service was excellent. The hostess, manager and server were so polite and helpful with meal suggestions. Thanks Julio. Food was flavorful and filling. We ordered fried quesadillas, mole enchiladas, and a shrimp and steak dinner. The drinks were good: peach mojito and classic rum & come. I can’t wait to go back.”

“I can not recommend Will it Waffle enough if you are close by!! I prefer the sweet options, while my husband likes the savory options, so together we have tried so much of the menu. Savory lovers-The deep dish pizza waffle is a must! For the sweet tooths-M&M waffle on a stick is literally perfection. The owner is also beyond friendly and you can tell that she really loves what she does. From the food to the customer service, you won't be disappointed.”

“They don’t skimp on the cold cuts, and the hot sandwiches on the weekend rule. The Italian beef is probably one of the best around the area.”

“Coffee was fantastic, and I drink it black! So it was not bitter at all. Service was fantastic and the food was wonderful. Check them out and I should have bought some coffee, but next time I am in the Region!”

“Went there at not-so-busy hours. Food was good, however the service was very lacking in the seating and ordering aspect. Get the app to schedule seating ahead of time (trust me) because they don’t take reservations. They only serve Prime Rib on Fri, Sat and Sun. If you aren’t feeling a steak I would highly recommend the pork chops. They are delicious.”

“Nice addition to The Hub. Bagels are excellent. The menu is limited. But what they have is tasty. Plenty of breakfast drink options. Regular coffee is tasty. They did a great job redoing the place. Great place to gather, enjoy some brews and have a bite to eat.”

“Fantastic food, all of it. I got the Karla Taco dinner and Karla tamale. All of it was great. I will be back bringing others with me. My only negative was the dirty table I sat down at. No one came out to clean it while I decided on what to order. In their defense, they were busy. Nobody was standing around at all.”

“Best pizza in crown point. Crust is amazing , sauce is amazing as well as sausage. Love the idea you don't have to brown sausage first. Highly recommend”

“Went for an early lunch on a Thursday. This place is beautiful. Every seating option has comfortable chairs - which I haven't experienced in any restaurants. Our server (Paige) was very helpful in making both drink & food selections. She was able to describe the different drinks, many of which had ingredients that were new to us. I enjoyed the very unique menu. Definitely check it out online. Our food was brought out quickly and was delicious. The salad was crisp & flavorful. The sandwich was extremely large - we split one. Never had a sandwich like this before. You will be using up all your calories for the day, but it was worth it. The French fries were also very good. I'd love to go at night and see what the vibe was like. All of the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!”

“We had a pretty positive experience for our first time in. The hostess was very friendly and our server was great. It was a nice atmosphere with TVs for sports and options to play darts and other games. I would recommend beefing up the beer menu and bringing in more craft beer selections. The food is basic pub food but prepared well”

“The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I enjoyed my food, but the sandwich was definitely smaller than I was expecting for the price. Also, I got The Capo, and I felt like it was more of a normal sandwich than the grilled cheese it was advertised to be. When I think of a grilled cheese, I feel that the cheese should be the star of the show rather than the extra ingredients added. Again, I did enjoy what I ordered, but I feel like because this restaurant just opened there is room for improvement.”

“The North Street Diner will be missed, but this is a nicely spruced up change. Have not had the Mexican fare yet, but the breakfast is tasty. Service is still good and atmosphere is comfy and welcoming.”

“Hosted a surprise birthday party here and it turned out GREAT. The staff was so accommodating and welcoming to our large party (50 people). The party coordinator works well with all your needs. The service was excellent throughout the entire night. I highly recommend!!”

“Enjoyed my visit to Crown Point. And this restaurant was the last stop. Did not disappointed. Quick and friendly service. And the pizza was very good! I would totally come back if I’m in town again.”

“It's a good old fashioned mom and pop type place. The stuffed pizza is very good, on par with the famous Chicago chains like Giordano's, etc. The broasted chicken is also very good. The cheesy tomato garlic bread is top notch. My wife loves it. The wings are big and meaty with a basic buffalo sauce but delicious nonetheless. Overall, great prices for what you get and if you eat in or carry out there's a good chance you'll feel like part of the family.”

“I got the high tide. Substituted corn for pineapple and Wasabi aoli instead of Sriracha. They were fast, very nice, and good size bowl if your hungry. It taste fantastic. They gave me a sample of the tuna when I asked how fresh it was and it was very fresh. I will get a tuna poke next time.”

“Lou's has been a favorite for years, but it's been a while since I had one. I noticed that a new carry out opened in Crown Point, and decided to give them a shot. Now, reading the reviews had me a little worried, but I chalked up most of the negative ones to the growing pains of a new restaurant. I placed my pickup order just after they opened on a Wednesday, and the pie was ready 30 minutes later just as they said it would. As recommended, I left it uncut for the ride home. Service was friendly and fast. Opened the box before leaving to see a perfectly good sausage and pepperoni deep dish. Looked great. Took the corners slowly on the drive home, and avoided having the ingredients on one side of the box. Tasted like Lou's once we dug in. I'm sure the place has had a few issues since opening. However, everything was fine with my order. Please don't order the pizza cut, drive home like a madman, and expect the pizza to look fresh.”

“I had the original Philly cheesesteak. The sandwich was AWESOME hot and fresh. The fresh hand cut fries just made the whole experience that much better. Went back this past Friday for a second time and I had the original chicken Philly and the loaded tots which had bacon and cheese in them. The best way to explain the thoughts is like a mashed potato ball with bacon and cheese and fried. That's the best way I can explain it and they were fantastic same with the sandwich. The employees are very happy and very friendly The owner is an awesome guy talked to him for a few minutes he remembered us from the first time we came in.”

“So there's a solid reason to why this place is so highly score reviewed on Google and its bc they offer a free dessert for every 5 star review (pandering) and as someone who mainly uses Google to find places to eat this is completely misleading and skewed from a realistic score. (Most restaurants can't score this high 4.7 on their own merits) Honestly, the food here isnt bad. Its just really over seasoned which makes it very tasty but you know health wise it can't be that good for you. Like everything is seasoned here to the 9's so its packed full of flavor as I'd like to share. I don't know why it wasnt busy at all during my visit but I loved how theres a open handwashing station and a clean station to load up on sauces and utensila. Its not a bad place, it was enjoyable, maybe your blood pressure might go up a bit but at this point, its tasty.”

“Personally I’ve no idea what the other reviewers are going on about. This McDonald’s was exceptional, from the one-woman professional-extraordinaire, who went from managing the register, to prepping orders in the kitchen, to then ensuring the dining space could not have been more pristine during down time, to the ultra modern and cool interior, it is unequivocally a 5-star location.”

“I cannot recommend this place enough. First of all the town is so charming but then to find this incredible place with such a “big city” flair that doesn’t diminish the town’s charm at all. In fact it only enhances it. The cocktails were amazing and unique but not overwhelming or crazy. The food deserves its own review because absolutely everything was insanely wonderful, and in fact, our group of 6 had multiple duplicate orders. The service was top notch too, really everything was just fantastic. The kind of night out that just stays with you. You won’t regret trying this place.”

“Really good stuff. The improvements to the building are excellent. The interior is warm and inviting. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. The food was excellent. We both had the hibachi, which is not cooked in front of you. The vegetables come with broccoli, so be sure to ask for it without broccoli. The wife had the chicken which she said was good. The steak and shrimp were excellent. The lunch portions are not House of Kobe or Wu's so don't expect to be leaving with a couple meals of leftovers. But the prices are appropriate. The egg rolls were the best I've ever had. Plenty of sushi options, if that is your thing. All around it's a great place and I highly recommend.”

“I'm writing because I attended the soft opening that the other reviewers are referring to. It's not open yet, but they did open for 2 days to test their systems and train staff (which is where these reviews are coming from). People are so quick to be negative, geesh. They had a lot of glitches and it took quite awhile to get my food but everyone was so friendly and positive, the food was great, and they gave us our food free because of the technical difficulties and wait. Can't wait for them to fully open!”
