I tried this place for the first time yesterday when it popped up on Door Dash. I was in the mood for something hearty and home cooked, and boy that's what I got! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with mac n cheese and greens. Everything was amazing, and tasted like grandma's best dishes! The greens were my favorite, seasoned and cooked perfectly. It also tasted great today when I got to my leftovers, lol! I will absolutely be ordering from this place again. Keep it up guys!!
Food is Delicious, seasoned very well and cooked to order. The place has a real Home feel and tasted. I have been back 4X and the quality has not changed. I recommend everything on the menu.
My family and I had the fried chicken, ribs, golden shrimp, and fried catfish. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection and the service was great! I definitely recommend this establishment.
My sister and I went to The Savory Spot Restaurant. The service was excellent. My meal was reasonable and really good. I had the savory roasted chicken with the sauteed collard greens and mac cheese. My sister had the savory roast chicken, baked sweet potato and green beans. She loved it, too. We will go back.
EVERYTHING is made fresh to order! We had the shrimp po’boy sandwich—-VERY TASTY! The shrimp was golden crisp and NOT greasy. We also had the 1/2 pound fried shrimp and we were impressed because it was so lightly breaded that you really could taste and savor the good flavor of the shrimp. One would think that a side of spaghetti would be just okay....but she makes her own sauce and it was, by far, a really tasty spaghetti sauce! We stuck around to try the ribs...fall off the bone baby back ribs and her homemade BBQ sauce is really just perfect...sweet / tangy! Give The Savory Spot a try! They are now open on Sundays but closed on Mondays.
