    Have loved this place since I was a child. Service and food always good. The ability to now pay by a credit or debit card is a huge plus!

    I love the drive in with carhops and window trays.

    You can't beat a frosty mug of root beer. The food is good too. A fun refreshment on a summer day, or any time.

    The food quality was back to the way it was when my husband and I were young. We we're very pleased. A huge change though is Carlson's now takes other forms of payment instead of just cash. We will definitely be stopping back!!

    Their homemade root beer is amazing. Smooth and delicious. The food is kind of mediocre and that's the reason for the three star rating. I have only returned so far to get more root beer. The service is friendly and good, and I like the drive-in atmosphere.

    The new ownership is fantastic. Food was amazing, service was spectacular, just all around better than it has been in a while! Did I mention that they accept cards now? They really do! Loved how fast the service was as well as how friendly the staff is now! Looking forward to going here again!
