Opera House Pub

We try to go once a week. The pork chops are amazing with tator tots and their fresh chowder.

So I tried the Opera House Pub for the first time. I was extremely impressed with the food. I had the potato crusted fish with mashed potatoes and sauteed cabbage. I wasnt even that hungry and i cleaned my plate. Its also nice to see businesses using the historical buildings in town instead of just letting them fall down. The only thing i didnt like about the place is the atmosphere. Its a very large open building and the have it painted all white and it was very quit with no pricacy and it just doesn't look very inviting. However I highly recommend this place if only to check out all the old historical pictures from Elwood that line the walls.

Love this place...my husband grew up working in this building so we go here a lot...but the food is really good plus the amount of options they have for beer on tap any given day

Love this place. We had ribeye steak baked potato and salad. It all was delicious.
