    This place is the best place to eat in Elwood as far as sit down restaurants go. They provide that classic warm neighborhood diner experience and the staff lives up to their name because they are always friendly. They offer breakfast and lunch on their menus along with daily specials off of the hanging white board. I order the same thing every time I eat here. I always order the loaded breakfast bowl. It is made up of a half order of biscuits and gravy, with two eggs cooked to your choice (i prefer scrambled), a breakfast meat of your choice (i usually go with sausage patties), and a type of potato of your choice (i normally go with home fries). In the breakfast bowl all the items are mixed together... but you can order the exact same items in a meal where they are served seperate... it's called a Hungry Man's breakfast. No matter what you choose to order, this place is amazing. You will not be disappointed with your choice to eat here.
