Loco Mexican Restaurant and Cantina

My new favorite Mexican restaurant close to home! I went on a very busy night and the service was still great! The wait wasn't too bad and the food was delicious. All of the drinks we order were well made and everything is reasonably priced. Great local place!

Decent Mexican food in a great location. Salsa was pretty bland, chips were good, and the main courses were decent. We had some trouble with ordering and getting the right food, however. My friend got charged extra for something that was supposed to come with the meal and didn't have the heart to point it out to the server.

Tried for first time today. As soon as I sat down chips and salsa were served, so that was quick. Salsa was bland. Ordered one entree from menu that noted guacamole and sour cream came with it. I emphasized the sour cream and guacamole but entree showed up with no guacamole, had to ask again. I ordered a tropical mojito. Mojitos are known for crushed mint leaves. I searched and searched for the mint leaf and finally found two that together equalled about less the size of a half a fingernail. The waitress didn't come back to check on things, passed by my table twice where I'd shoved the latest away to signal her, until I finally flagged her down and asked for check. Sorry, but there's not enough there for me to be interested in returning.

So good. So reasonably priced. Love that it's in my neighborhood and super walkable! Always get a pitcher or two of margs. The patio is dog friendly in the summer.

Good Mexican restaurant. Typical US Mexican food menu. Serves beer and alcoholic drinks. Service is pretty quick. Food was good, not great, but still enjoyed what I got. They have outdoor seating for warmer months. Bar area as well as tables and booths. Would come back again.
