Food is authentic and very good, as is the service. Our German exchange student vouched for the quality and said it was excellent. You wont leave hungry. I love this place! Such a unique historical building and location to dine on authentic German cuisine.

Went to watch a couple bands Hot Pockets & Jukebox Luke both were very good! You should catch them anytime they are in town! Was very impressed with the atmosphere, absolutely amazing old building. We've been on the Keto diet but found a great Greek salad on the bar menu & hard liquor with diet coke rounded out the evening! They also a have restaurant with a full menu, food looked good! Parking is the only draw back. All we found was on street parking with meters, but if you circle a time or two someone is always leaving so it doesn't take long to find a spot. Maximum walking distance 1 1/2 to 2 blocks. Well worth the trip!

We had an incredible experience here.

For starters, the pretzel and horseradish mustard were amazing... be aware that the horseradish is VERY intense.

The stuffed mushrooms were rich and cheesy!

The potato salad was one of the most flavorful things I've eaten in a long time!

The bacon wrapped New York strip was... bacon-wrapped - need I say more?!?

And the German chocolate cheesecake was mind-boggling delicious.

Add to this the traditional German atmosphere and you have a place that totally lives up to the hype!

We went lunch time today (Sunday)

It is a historic building with a calm atmosphere. The type of place that you have to ask if there is a dress code at the door ( which there isnt by the way.)

The lunch menu was very cost effective and the food was delicious. Our waitress was an older lady just as sweet as could be. Food came out in a timely manner and hot.

We looked at the dinner menu and was it was far more expensive than the lunch but we still have plans to dine there one evening to see if dinner services goes just as well.

This is a very nice restaurant. It's really big and sort of underground, but it's no less spectacular and beautiful. Tonight was my first time coming here and they dressed up it for Christmas. Very pretty and romantic. Now, on to the food. Firstly, I strongly warn against the spicy mustard. I thought it was some kind of butter and was very unpleasantly surprised when I tried it with the bread. It made me tear up. Unless you like spicy stuff, then I would strongly advise you to stick with the butter. Other than, the food was very good. They offer both American and German cuisine. I'd recommend going with the German for a truly authentic experience.
