“My favorite place to eat in all of Lawrence. I'd recommend going for lunch because it's basically the same menu and a good bit cheaper. It's not just sushi; it's rice, noodles, tempura, ice cream, appetizers--everything all you can eat and made fresh when you order it. I always prefer little bits of a lot of different things instead of a big portion of one thing when I go out and this place is perfect for nibblers like me.”

“I went through the drive through so I can't comment on the inside of the facility. I ordered the chicken strips, fries and toast. The toast was a little hard but everything else was good. The white gravy dipping sauce was good and different from the usual bbq, honey mustard, etc. The food was still hot when I arrived home which was awesome. Most fast food would have cooled down. Service was also good and reasonably timed for what was ordered.”

“This place was high quality when it first opened years ago, but dang it has not aged well. They aren't well staffed, and their café is a joke now. The last time I was here I ordered taquitos- straight forward, every Speedway has them. This girl partially nuked them, and when I went to bite into them, the entire inside was super cold. I didn't even bother going back in to ask for new ones; I didn't want to wait, and I honestly didn't think she'd do any better the second time. It's a large facility and has easy access points on either side, so it's great for getting gas. But the quality inside just isn't worth the visit anymore, which is disappointing because I generally love and swear by Speedways.”

“This place is so cute! As someone who is particular about the quality of my coffee, I highly recommend stopping by. Retro decor, cozy, corner bookstore feel, with amazing bread baked on site every day and the owner roasts the coffee. As a mom of small kids, the spiral staircase kinda freaks me out a little, but the kids found some games upstairs that they were more interested in than the stairs. (Phew!) The food is delicious and the staff are lovely people!!”
