Chef Mike's Charcoal Grill

What a great place. Excellent food, attentive service, relaxing atmosphere and special people. It's the place we go most often for lunch or supper. Was there two times this week, once with a close friend and one with my closest friend, my wife. Try it. You'll be glad you did.

We ordered the Cheddar burger and the charcoal bourbon burger. The charcoal taste was very good but the toppings were lacking.
The potato skins we're VERY greasy and soft with no crisp.
I subbed mine for a salad that only had tomatoes as a topping.

This is a new location for the restaurant and as they get started there may be some delays in the delivery of your food but be patient as it is truly worth it. My wife had the salmon and and I had the chicken breast sandwich and both were very flavorful as the slow roasted smoking heightened all the flavors together. Even the roasted vegetables were a delight. The waitresses were truly helpful, knew the entrees well and were courteous. A number of families all arrived at the same time, so there were some delays in getting everything together, but I'm sure this will be ironed out as the patron patterns develop. So sit back and enjoy as the flavors will knock you out, we will be coming back!

Fantastic charcoal-grilled steaks, burgers, and chops. We've been fans for years, and love the new more convenient location. Great salads, and a thoughtful and interesting beer and wine list. If you're in the mood for something different, try a grilled pizza. Dump those chain restaurants and eat local!

The food was delicious. My husband & I came in on a Friday evening, it was moderately busy. We have no complaints with the food. My complaint is the so called hostess, she was an older woman. She has no customer service skills, no pleasant personality and she rarely kept an eye on the hostess stand. We watched 3 couples walk out due to her inattentiveness to the hostess stand. She should not be the first person to greet customers. Chef Mike needs to hire someone pleasant, friendly, attentive, and energetic. I can only give 3 stars because good customer service goes a long way.
