    Very informative waiter, chill, hip atmosphere. Nice twist on usual Mexican dishes in heart of Irvington.

    high-brow Mexican food;
    food very delicious. pretty authentic.
    prices appropriate to a smidge high.
    portions appropriate; everyone cleaned plate, quite full & satisfied --no 2# box of leftovers like many ..quantity replaced with flavor & ingredient quality!! ditto for Margarita.. DELICIOSO!
    we did feel like the atmosphere was a bit off .. quite modern/cold/stuffy.. lacking a comfortable, relaxed home-y-ness we all like with our Chips & Salsa (not free btw), but overall a win for sure.

    Really impressed with Ixca and saddened that I've waited so long to try their food. Very modern feel and food that compliments that vibe. Before tip, lunch for two was under $20, which is really solid. And the choices aren't just everyday Mexican food. Great variety! Can't wait to go back.
