Absolutely delicious. Dare I say it, the best smashed burgers in Indy!! I’ve been here twice and it’s consistently tasty. If burgers aren’t your thing, at the bare minimum get their loaded fries and dole whip. Parking is a bit difficult if you go over the weekend. This location is in Irvington, so historic part of Indianapolis. Great to eat outdoor of weather permitting.
Smash’d Burger Bar is a pretty new addition to Irvington and I’ve meant to try it for a long time. I finally got to visit recently.
Arriving at around 5:30 PM on a Sunday, they weren’t too busy. The overall indoor vibe is really nice. The ladies at the counter were really friendly.
I got a BYO double smash burger with bacon and an egg (obviously, those are my go to toppings lol) with a side of waffle fries. Now what were my thoughts? The burger was incredible in every way possible. The meat was seasoned great, the egg was cooked perfectly, the bacon was crispy, and the waffle fries were great!
And since it was Sunday, they were handing out free dole whip with each meal as a special so I got a vanilla, it was great!
Overall, if you’re in Irvington looking for burgers, give Smash’d a shot! Definitely one of my new favorite burger joints in Indianapolis. Will definitely be back!
Oh my god, this is incredible. Your food is the new best waffle cut fries and cheeseburger. I had a spooky, double decker Sleepy Hallow garlic cheeseburger with a root beer. I am in love. Everyone who enjoys diner food should come check it out. I love the decorations as well. Lots of shops in this neighborhood have decorations for Halloween.
Atmosphere is nice. Decent sized place. Staff super friendly, even for a Sunday visit. The burgers and waffle sweet potatoes and regular waffle fries were good but definitely overpriced. I don’t expect to pay $33 for two burgers, two fries, and 2 drinks. But I’d go back!
I live right down the streets and have been wanting to stop in. I finally did tonight and I'm so glad I did! I got the Sleepy Hollow and Waffle Fries. The Roasted Garlic Aioli is very tasty and the waffle fries are nice and crispy! Highly recommend and will be back soon!
