Little Cairo Cafe (Broad Ripple)

Got the shish kabob sandwich, a side of kopa, and a side of hummus. The Pita is fresh and fluffy. The hummus was absolutely amazing! I had never had Kopa before, but it was crispy and well seasoned. Paired perfectly with the hummus. The sandwich was also really good, large portion sizes.

Ordered delivery thru a third party service on a Sunday night and I was pleasantly surprised! Order showed up early, hot and fresh! The hummus was the best I’ve had! Great addition to the neighborhood, I recommend trying it. However, this place does not get 5 stars from me... I still prefer a different middle eastern restaurant in Bripp.

Decided to edit my original review. Gave it another try and ordered something different. The food seemed a lot more fresh and more flavorful this time. Will definitely be going back.

I’ve heard many good reviews of this place and wanted to give it a try the other day. The menu has most popular items from the Mediterranean cuisine - babaganoush, kebab, kofte etc. The location is great - right on College avenue along with a few other great restaurants right around the corner. I’ve tried kafta kabab and nile mazah - both were pretty good. The meat in kabab was a bit dry, but everything else tasted delicious. Very good hummus and pita. Dolmathes were a delight. The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is due to the fact I’ve waited for my order for 1 hour. Considering there were not so many folks inside the restaurant or picking up food - 1 hour is extraordinary long. I hope it was just a one time thing.
