(January 16, 2024, 5:09 pm)I broke down near here without my phone in the middle of the night. I walked into the bar, crying 🤦🏼♀️, everyone I walked past on the way to the bar asked if I was ok and tried to offer help. The bartender let me use her personal phone to go outside and call my husband to come get me. If you’re not from a small town, county or community, it’s hard to understand the way people pull together, but it really is a thing. I can’t comment on the food or drinks, but the hospitality, compassion and actual goodness in the people there showed through their actions! I was so thankful for them!

We were camping at the Shades (5 miles away) at the time of posting pizza was all they had to offer, but guess they are working on the kitchen. Live music on Saturday night and then a great bloody mary on Sunday. If your close by stop in.
