    I'm from Detroit and try to stop here whenever I'm in the area. The Viking Chili Bowl is a vanishing breed; wholesome, tasty, and affordable food in a comfy and completely unpretentious environment. The best of the Midwest. Don't miss it.

    It's a quaint little restaurant with hours till 3 pm (I believe), because the menu focuses on breakfast. The prices can't be beat. My go-to special is the ribeye steak and eggs. The cut and marbling of the steak is AMAZING for the price. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy is thick enough and just spicy enough as well. There is also a stuffed pepper soup that I would recommend.

    Very good food and the portion sizes are plentiful. Lots of selection. I recommend the hungry man skillet or the viking special. Neither will disappoint. The staff and servers are always pleasant and friendly. Highly recommend for breakfast!
