R Bar

Giving this spot 5 stars just for the experience. Use to come here before they began doing shows every weekend. The atmosphere is right and the drinks are decently priced. All the bartenders are super attentive and look out for the patrons. The owners seem cool as well and will come up to talk to folks which is rare but nice. Can’t wait for them to be done with their hiatus and open up their new location, need more memories here.

Came here for the first time to celebrate my best friends 30th birthday! We had the BEST time! The service was great, the crowd was awesome and the owner was OUTSTANDING. I’d recommend this place a million times over!
Also, I can’t leave a review without mentioning that they make their own ranch dressing?! If I could order shots of that instead of whiskey, I would 😂

R Bar is by far my favorite bar in all of Michiana-

The owners, Amy and Dawn, go above and beyond to give EVERYONE a safe place. The food is good, the drinks are perfect and the atmosphere is unmatched in our area. If you’re reading this wondering if this is the right choice for your evening out, it absolutely is!

We always have a wonderful experience at the R Bar. It's one of the few places in the michiana area where all kinds of people can come and have a good time and mingle with no drama. The drag shows are amazing. We are here tonight for the burlesque show. I do recommend crying hair too it is surprisingly good as well. Particularly the mushrooms and fried pickles. I see this little bar doing great things and will probably soon out grow their current space.

I absolutely love this bar , the owner is so kind and everyone is so kind. It’s like a little family for the lgbtq community and they welcome you with open arms !! The entertainment is amazing , their always supporting our drag queens and kings !! I got to experience a burlesque show and of course it was amazing . Always good time at Rbar
