Great service, quite possibly one of the best omelettes I have ever eaten, the ingredients were fresh, and it was cooked to perfection.

It was ok, coffee was fine, but I got the hotcakes and they weren't that good.

Stopped by J&J after seeing it on my last trip through Brookston. I was greeted warmly and seated myself. I ordered a coffee, half biscuit and gravy, and one pancake. The food arrived relatively fast. The biscuit and gravy were good, but had a sweet taste to the gravy and not much else. The biscuit got lost inside and the sausage didn't add much in terms of flavor. The pancake was different. It was thin and extremely dense with a tart taste like a sugar cookie. It arrived covered in melted butter, which may be the overload of one flavor I noted. I didn't care for the pancake. The coffee and service were both great. Overall this was an okay breakfast for about $10, but I may have to try something different if I return.

Great food!! They know how to properly cook eggs. Never had a bad meal or service here.
