opening night to the public. had reservastion for 4:00pm which we met. Took a few minutes as they were just opening, and it was opening night. Great waitress. I had the Hoosier Ribeye, wife has the Beef Stroganoff. My wife's words. Damn Good. My words for my steak. Got the Hoosier Ribeye, with caramelized onions and mushrooms. Ordered Rare. Told the waitress to just warm up the blood. We had Crab Rangoon appetizers. My only complaint is it should have been 4 instead of 3, but that's fine. Got our appetizers, and drinks, then the food showed up.
She handed me the plate and when I seen that steak I thought "OMG" it was black and i don't think i need to say what my initial thought was. But As soon as I cut into it, I thought OMG. This was perfectly cooked, it was "melt in your mouth" tender. Red skinned mashed potatoes were excellent. That meal was by far the best I have had in a long time.

I told the waitress to give my compliments to the chef. We will certainly be going back.
If I could rate it higher than a 5 I would. Thank You Oak&Barrel.
