George & Nick's Pizza & Steakhouse

This place is a Centerville institution. The steaks, grilled chicken and the like are very good. The grilled chicken is a great light option, with a very tasty marinade and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken is also well done, with a crispy skin and juicy on the inside while still being very hot. The pizza is honestly not my favorite. The sauce is a bit bland and the crust seems undercooked the several times I've had it, but I have relatives that really like that style, so are big fans. They certainly don't skimp on the toppings! As far as price, they are very reasonable with lots of options. When I have friends or relatives come in from big cities, they are shocked at the low prices on the steaks. They also come with sides, usually a potato, a salad and bread. A decent-to-good selection of beer, wine and other drinks, again at very reasonable prices.

Wow this place was packed during a bike night on the square. We walked in with a party of 7 waited less then 5 minutes to be seated,got drink very quickly service was outstanding. Ordered our food three pizza and apps all came out as it should have hot ready and with a smile (even while being slammed). I cannot say enough about how good the pizza was. I live an hour away and will make the drive to try more of there dishes. The building and atmosphere where second to none. For two people that eat out almost every meal take my word for you will not be disappointed with your experience. Thank you all for making out first trip to Centerville very well worth it.

The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was very clean. The staff were great. The price is reasonable. The steaks were perfectly cooked and were good. The spaghetti sauce was not desirable in taste and the spaghetti appeared to be sitting in a lot of grease or oil. We would like to see more options for the side dishes such as mashed potatoes, corn, Mac n cheese, peas, and green beans.

We went for a special night out and we were not disappointed. We both had steak and they were delicious! Their pizza is also delicious. Nice new remodel on the place as well. All in all... Wonderful Birthday night!
