We chose to dine here for our anniversary after a fantastic soft opening dinner.

It was difficult to bypass the appetizers since this was our 3rd time to experience the Triple Cooked Bacon and it is a divine piece of meat that can’t be missed. The raw oysters are a different selection each time and have been fantastic flavor with their God given abilities but the accompaniments provided from P&P really bring out the flavor profile of any region we have tried here (Eastern, Pacific & Baja)
The Beet & Burrata salad is also a new craving of ours. I am not too keen on burratas but this pesto infused is magic along with the beets.

We have had the “hamburger” the other two times we have dined, so decided to choose from the sea offerings this time. I had the king salmon prepared medium rare and it was perfection with the shrimp ragu and Husband had the tuna prepared rare and it was fantastic. Mac n cheese side also very yummy for a bit of splurgy carbs and the broccolini with miso dressing is a very unique and flavorful side that pairs well with fish or the burger/tenderloin filet.

The music is a bit raucous at times, but Husband loves it. The atmosphere is classy, modern and upscale with smooth and sleekness all around. Wait staff is attentive while not stalking, and informed of the menu . The sommelier/manager made an excellent choice of a rosé for our dinner and made our table celebratory for our anniversary. Cocktails are well made and good flavors-only thing missing is for us ice snobs that like a clear ice cube which is the WDM water issue.

This is an excellent addition to the West Des Moines scene for high quality steak house that is an independent/non-chain and has great value when compared to other chain steak houses in the metro. Looking forward to many more special meals here.

Had the opportunity to eat here during the first few weeks. The atmosphere is great! I love the restaurant is setup with a formal and more casual side. The menu options do not disappoint with several unique sides along with your normal expected items.

We were excited to try Chef Dom's new restaurant since we love Splash!
For the prices we were a bit let down. . .
Server was sweet however, forgot my drink order, a question we asked about gluten (3x) & I was served the wrong oyster order (which they fixed!)
Oysters were fresh & the extra horseradish was presented beautifully!
Caesar Salad was presented in a unique way but tricky to cut up to eat. The ring of Parmesan was impossible to cut🫤 so we tore it apart and ate it like bread.
Husband had a ribeye which was generous & tasty. The broccolini w/ miso was not his favorite.
I ordered the seafood bolognese & wanted it served over broccoli & potatoes but it came over broccolini w/ a generous bowl of mashed potatoes. The mild sweet lobster was overpowered by the broccolini stems so it was not very good. ☹️
Out of the entire evening the aperol spritz, custom menu for our anniversary & heart confetti on our table made up for the other let downs. Staff was very kind so I might have to give it another try!

Fun new place in West Des Moines where steaks are grilled over charcoal with an open kitchen concept so you can see all the action.
Our favorites were the carrots,Caesar salad, lasagna roll ups and raspberry sorbet. Our server was fantastic, great at explaining menu items and what are the top pics. Comfortable seating.

You could not paint a better cooked steak! This place is the real deal, my steak was amazing! Cooked perfectly for the medium rare temperature I ordered. I also had impressive drinks and the chilled king crab! The Oysters Rockefeller (not on the menu but special ordered) were the best I have ever had!!! I highly recommend this place! My new favorite place in the Des Moines Metro!
