The Gardens

The gardens were great! Weather was perfect, scenery was gorgeous, wings were very good, beer was cold, waitress was efficient and helpful, music was about 10db too loud (for where we were seated), but also very good. Nice place to relax!

Fun bar on the water inside Central Emporium. Plenty of drinks and frozen cocktails. The kryptonite is an interesting "shot"(basically a full drink). The fried pickles are bomb. Wings are solid.

Great atmosphere, great people, and friendly staff! Food was excellent too! Great place to hang out with friends, and listen to music right off West Okoboji Lake!

The food is good, it's not grand. They have some great beers on tap. They have kickass martinis. The service is great. The location is great. The food just lacks something. I've been there 3 times this summer, and have never "needed" to eat there again. I will say, their fish tacos are the best of the few I've had in the lakes area. I'd recommend them, for sure.

For a party bar, I'm sure this place is great. For dinner with your family inside, it's just okay. My wife's burger was missing bacon. My pizza was a bit odd, undercooked, and I should have know better to assume Gardens would have a proper pizza oven. The men's bathroom smelled horrible, like a men's bathroom in a bar, which I suppose it's what is was.
