Iowa Brewing Company

This is a great place to sample beers. Their flights are very well price and you can buy single samples as well very inexpensively. The staff was funny and quick to get.your drinks. It was a laid back environment. I had sampled their beer else where so when we had the ability to go to the brewery we had to. The beer was great and they offered pretzels to snack on. The live music was great. The only thing missing might have been a few more lights outside for the band. Great place to have some beers. Get there.

Really fun experience here and highly recommend. Came here on December 23 for the "Festivus" celebration and it was super fun. There were a few complimentary snacks out, and some nice camaraderie. I must say that it's a step above 90% of the CR bars...the clientele is not people you would find at a truck stop, nor is it a bunch of unruly high school seniors with fake ids. The beer selection was nice, with great descriptions. And the prices were insanely cheap - living in Chicago I'm used to paying $8 or $9 for a craft beer, so it's refreshing to get a nice size one for $5 or $6 here. Keep it up Iowa Brewing Co! :)

Cheap brews and a good local selection. Tons of seating, but you only get served at the bar. It wasnt too busy when we went a few times, but that was during the week (instead of the weekend). The staff were attentive and the place was clean. The only major gripe is the lack of food, but Fongs, Newbo, and a few other places are only a few mins away on foot. They also have IBUs for everything, if you care about that. A few other local bars distinctly did NOT include those figures on their menus.

Good beers, many styles well done. Great happy hour.

I enjoy riding my bike here. It's a great turn around point, take a break, and drink a delicious craft before you head on the journey back home. Its Its awesome that they host comics who come through for special occasions that always creates a unique environment.
