    It’s still the same as I remember it in the 1980s. No frills and simple comfort food. Loved our recent meal and the great service.

    Good sandwiches and daily special homemade meal plates. Reasonable prices. Interior is small and bare of decor but I don't see that as a problem.

    This place is one of those random little Iowan things that I just have to have when I come by. Love me my Maid-Rites, they may get a little messy but the are just the perfect sandwiches honestly. Great little place, folks here are super friendly. Will always be back c:
