Saucy Focaccia

Sandwiches were okay, pretty greasy. I tried the Cuban. Too much sauce for me, pork was a bit bland. Fries were hit or miss. A lot of them were dark, some were perfect. He tried the chili cheese burger, ended up using a knife and fork. Not surprising for that type of sandwich, but we both found the flavor or seasoning in the burger was odd. Just not our thing, I guess. They were served in baskets with parchment paper. Fine for the fries, the sandwiches made the paper very soggy. We had to be careful not to eat paper with the food. Bacon cheese Mac and fries were pretty awesome. I liked them, he said they needed salt. It was very rich, we shared one side order and didn't finish it. We came away feeling like it was another expensive burger place. Definitely a few twists and some interesting menu items, but still a burger place. The bread for the sandwiches was very good though.

Was a great time. The place was very busy when we arrived and the workers were on point! Great teamwork to get the customers taken care of. The owner even came in and two extra employees to take care of the rush! Thank you!

Fast food price and speed of service combined with the sophistication and food quality of a sit down restaurant. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable! I was told the history of banana ketchup, one of the many made from scratch sauces that they offer. The fries are hand cut and the burgers are perfectly seasoned and taste as though there might be a touch of pork mixed in with their beef. Saucy Focaccia is in a word, DELICIOUS! I will most certainly be coming back to try all the burgers and sandwiches! It's no wonder that they're one of the top rated burger joints in Iowa!

They had a really nice variety of unique burgers to choose from, but not so many that you had to spend forever reading the menu. Food came out pretty quick and was high quality! Great shakes, too! The atmosphere is pretty simple and sort of a blend between fast food and a sit down place; you order at the counter and everything but the setting just feels nicer than fast food places.

The food here is so good and such a great price! The tots are fried to perfection – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. The interior was very clean, with comfy chairs and nice tables. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their food!
