“This place is really unique and cool for Cedar Rapids but I feel like the owners opened it without really knowing how to run a restaurant. They didn’t even have a Google page set up yet and I had to do it. This place was apparently in the works for like 4 years but they couldn’t even have a drink menu ready upon opening. The drinks they do serve seems more like something you would find at a sports bar and not someplace upscale and nice. An orange wedge on the rim of a manhattan isn’t very classy. There is also another place in town called New Bohemia which is kind of confusing. The upstairs rooftop patio is very nice but there isn’t a bar up there and on a nice busy day it’s hard to get a drink downstairs. They could be making way more money if they had a bar upstairs and more staff. This place could really do well if put in the right hands and under the right management but can also see it not doing well because it’s such an odd space that hasn’t really seemed to find its grove yet. It’s for sure worth checking out and having your own opinion about.”

Nice place, hot sauce is hot, mild is sweet/savory with a twist, almost like steak sauce but definitely made to pair better with chicken/fish. Large portion sizes. Would absolutely go back. I'd recommend giving them a shot. Support this business so they can stay around for a long time and I don't think any of us will be sorry!”

“Great chicken and sides. A local place that has the friendliest people running the place. Chicken was fresh and juicy with a crispy breading. I loved the potato salad and cornbread and my wife loved the peach cobbler. Sounds like they have a smaller fryer so expect to wait a bit for food but it is worth it. We will return often because this is my new chicken place.”

“This place is AMAZING! GREAT prices, GREAT staff, and GREAT food! My daughter got the Mac & Cheesy burger, had 3 bites and was full! I got a mushroom and Swiss burger, it was delicious and I couldn't finish it all! We also got bacon Mac & cheese tots! Needless to say we had 2 large take home boxes! The young man cooking the food was extremely friends and asked us how everything was when we went to get boxes. TOP NOTCH! Highly recommend! We will be back and will tell all of our friends of our amazing experience!”
