    El Portal is one of the better Mexican restaurant in town. I ordered the shrimp tacos. Shrimp was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The refried beans were not that normal pool of runny slop. These were wonderful. They're were still chunks of beans with just a little heat. The waitress was very nice. And the place is very clean.

    This place was good. However, the menu is the same as Mi Casita in Nevada and La Caretta in Boone. Must be the same family.

    Very good food! Definitely will go back there more often! Bathrooms were very clean and the service we got was really good!

    Love this place...we eat there regularly. Service is great staff is always friendly and I've loved everything I've ordered. The carnitas are especially good.
