Panera Bread

Food was good like the other Metro locations, my biggest issue was the cleanliness. We chose a booth and we waited while the table and seats were being wiped down but I had to dry off the benches and table so my family and I could sit on it. Underneath the table was disgusting, this appeared to be the case underneath most of the tables. Having worked in food service myself as a server cleanliness is key, if any part of the dining area is dirty, it's all dirty. I really drags down the dining experience when there is visible filth. I encourage this location to put more effort into making sure all areas of the dining area are clean not just tables and seats. No one wants to step in or on someone else's food they dropped.

Stopped here for breakfast, I went inside, ordered a wrap and a cup of coffee. I paid and when given the receipt I gave a tip. I was not expecting that I was going to have to get my own coffee, guess I gave a tip for handing me a empty cup. So with my coffee in hand I head to waiting area and watch as my wrap is being made and to my surprise they use eggs out of a carton! After the carton eggs are put into some type of machine they then add water to eggs.

Got my wrap and went to car to eat and there wasn't much chicken on it but the actual wrap is really good, and to no surprise to me the eggs are watery. I really would rate better if only the eggs had really been cooked and not steamed.

The young man at the front, taking our order, was top notch in his customer service skills. He was polite, had great eye contact, demonstrated patience, and able to answer all questions asked. The food was delivered quickly, fresh, and delicious. Thank you Panera Bread Ankeny location!!

Food good, a lot of organic stuff. Service was a little slow. Accessible. Big sloping parking area and heavy traffic. Good place for fast food.

First time at Panera. Staff here (Katlin) was very friendly and very nice. She was great on explaining things to me. Bagels are amazing too!!
