Tasty Tacos

Agreed their taco shells are awesome. Unfortunately our family does not care for the way they prepare the taco fillings...so we don't eat at Tasty Tacos.

Who doesn't love tasty tacos? A Des Moines must-have, the original flour tortillas are an incredible bargain and the salsa they put at each table seals the deal. Tasty tacos has expanded quite a bit in the past years, opening new locations, and with good reason (Iowans can't get enough). I'll be back soon for a taco or two!

This is such a unique taco. I have never had anything like it. You won't regret going here. You will probably become an addict.

There are some of the best tacos I've had. The flour tacos are amazing!

This is a busy Mexican fast food restaurant that fills orders very fast. They have their ordering system fine tuned. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly and hard working. I peered into their kitchen, and they had several skillets steaming with made from scratch food. (It was super clean too.)

The menu has something for everyone, including kids items and dessert. If it's your first time here, order a couple of flour tacos.

Some may claim these aren't authentic tacos, but this style of taco has been in the Midwest since at least the 1950's/60's. What is an "authentic" taco is debatable anyway. These are delicious!
