My husband and cane here three times now we love the place, so clean, the workers are so sweet, and the main lady that always helps us is such a doll we will back more and more

Very elegant and accessible restaurant. They offer large portions and for reasonable prices. I enjoyed the food a lot and the staff were very personal and chatty. I recommend this place.

I picked up a order of food to go and two appetizers.the food and appetizers were excellent we plan to return at a future date

Yeah they’re pretty good I could not find one thing to disagree with they have indoor seating a lunch buffet me myself I grab to take out I’m on the run a lot so I know about food places to eat if you’re looking for Chinese try this one. Very inexpensive, small but cozy. Couple that run the place are nice.

Canton is a hole in the wall Chinese place with lunch specials and a buffet. They seem to have the same things every Chinese place has. The little Buddha. The white takeout menu with red lettering. It's all here.

However; having lived from Chicago to LA to Dallas to overseas. This is my favorite Chinese place. The food quality seems very consistent and above the other places I've gone: keeping in mind it's Americanized Chinese food.

The sweetest lady works the front; and I've never seen anyone else. She works more hours in a week than I probably do in a month. And, she's always happy to see people in the door. They're closing early today for the fireworks, and I walked right in at closing. I apologized but she insisted it was okay. And, then asked if I wanted it super spicy like I usually do. I've never been a regular anywhere in my life. I'm here maybe once every other month max. But she remembers.

Tl;Dr
The food is very good, it's got good lunch deals, and they are very friendly. It's my favorite in West Des Moines.
