(September 28, 2019, 9:44 pm)I looked up "food challenge's in the Des Moines area" and it led me to this gem of a restaurant. Ordered the Rey Rey 2 ft long burrito, the only downside was the price which after all I added came out to almost 30$ If you try this most people will probably need a friend to conquer that thing. All in all a pretty decent place with pretty good food.

(August 6, 2019, 7:58 pm)Delicious and authentic Mexican food. Salsa is wonderful. They have chips and salsa to your table by the time you settle in. Rey mentioned he had been in business 23 yrs. Attentive staff, saw several take outs while we were eating lunch. This was our first visit, googled by our granddaughter and not a doubt in my mind it will become a mainstay when we need some authentic Mexican food. If in the area, give it a try, I bet you will try it again.
