Tavern Pizza & Pasta Grill

Varied menu but Italian overall. Great pizza...I am fond of the special grinder version. Husband likes broaster chicken usually but fryer down today so bacon cheeseburger instead which was good as well. Creamy parm dressing nice and salads are generous in size but iceberg lettuce and not romaine.

The food was to die for. The service was amazing. The beer prices were a bit higher than I like but I will definitely be back

Went there Clive location for a family birthday dinner. First they wouldn't Take a reservation for party of 20. The manager almost turned us away and said he had no Room for us but when we said we were here for a birthday dinner he gave us 2 booths and a table. Our waitress was awesome even as busy as she was. We received our food a couple of our pizzas were a luke warm and chewy. Before ordering our meals we had asked to order onion rings we were told that the fryer had not been cleaned and there were no onion rings being served. Not sure how on one in your busiest days during your holiday that you do not have your fryer available to make your very famous onion rings I think that is poor planning and management direction. We received our bills and I noticed I was charged 13.50 4 piece chicken dinner when on your menu it says that it was 12.50 or 12.25 I didn't complain but I think you should update your menus to match your prices in your system. ..

They have great bacon cheeseburger pizza. What a classic. I love that they have wine, beer as well as soda to choose from. It's nice to be able to order various sizes of pizza and the wait staff is very agreeable. I will go back often to the Tavern to enjoy pizza and beer.
