Kathmandu Restaurant

Great family spot! We met our daughters there for a leisurely Saturday dinner. We all enjoyed the buffet, most of which was gluten-free. Owned and operated by a hard working friendly.

A delightful buffet of classic Nepalese/ Indian dishes, plus Ice cream .reasonable prices. Owner also doubles as host. Great service. Nice bright atmosphere

I had a wonderful experience in this restaurant! The service was absolutely fantastic, and the employees were very kind. The restaurant is clean and tidy, the bathroom was clean. They sure do take great care of the place, the food, and customers. It is however, a bit expensive. Not really a complaint, the prices are reasonable and the food portions are very filling, but just be prepared to spend, as I do think it's worth it.

Personally, this is only the second time in my life eating Nepali food. So for people new to this kind of food it does have some odd flavors. It's similar to Indian food, but the flavor is a bit sweeter and leans into into flavors seen in food from farther eastern Asia. So, you will like something, and not like another thing based on your personal flavor preferences. But the food is fantastic! Weird flavors, but fantastic! I suggest choosing from one of the curries, for a first time visit.

Overall, this place is amazing! And definitely worth eating at. It's clean and tidy, the food is delicious, and the service is perfect!

My boyfriend and I are huge fans of Kathmandu. The new location in Windsor Heights is just as good as the original location. The lunch buffet is always delicious, and the label system clearly states allergens. The staff is also super helpful.
