I found the service good, the quality of the food was excellent. McAlister's Deli had a nice selection of sandwiches and some unique sides. I personally found an excellent balance in the taste combinations of their sandwiches and look forward to trying some more. McAlister's Deli draw back is the price. About $40 for two meals and Nachos(which by the way was very tasty). I recommend a try and hope to eat there myself soon
This was our first visit. The staff was helpful and pleasant. My wife had the McAlister Wrap. It was full of meat and the mustard was slightly different than a standard yellow mustard but very tasty. I had the chef salad with Chili-lime vinaigrette. The mixed greens were plentiful and appeared very fresh. I would have preferred a little more meat and cheese on the salad but it was still good.
We ordered at the counter but the food was brought to the table and our table was bussed by staff.
Biggest negative was our table was near a door opposite the main entrance. We discovered that this is the door staff used to service the drive through line. It meant regular blasts of 29 degree air. Not huge... I would just suggest not sitting near this door.
I've been here four times in the last month and I've been through the drive-through each time; I always make sure there's not too many people in the Drive-Thru because this is not a fast food place, this is a deli. I've always had great food here, never a bad experience. They load the sandwiches up with meat like no other place in town, especially if you order off the big and bold portion of the menu.
Seems nice, I got the Chipotle chicken sandwich. Tasted good, but way not enough chicken. My dad got French dip and it seemed like it was properly loaded. Chips were normal.
Thing I'd recommend to restaurant people: move the lid station and just put the lid on for us, it's wonky to receive a big cup full without a lid.
I gave it 4 stars for the quality and price for what you get. Won't break the bank, won't fill you either.
