Outback Steakhouse

Mehhh last time I was here was 10-12 years ago because at that time it smelt bad and the floors were sticky. Still looks the same inside, floors are clean now lol, and it still smells weird. Like there's a open sewer trap? I dunno. The food was awesome.
My rib eye was very good.
Service was great.

The service was very good. The food was not. We decided to order something other than steak. I think that was our mistake. Or should I say misteak.

Plenty of seating. Very accommodating. We were given a car seat sling that was great!

Service was excellent and the waiter was very nice. Had a group of 4 for dinner all others we're satisfied with their food. I ordered shrimp and steak. Steak was supposed to be med-well and came out very done. When I told our waiter he had them he had the kitchen start another one and informed the manager. They comped my meal which was very nice of them. The manager brought out my other one and it was done to what I ordered and it was very good. Also ordered the grilled asparagus which I had not seen on a menu before and it was really good. My daughter and I were not impressed by the fries or the blooming onion, but my other guests were.

I had an enjoyable dinner here awhile back. It is really nice when you are on the road that you count on franchise to be reliable. I have not been disappointed at an Outback yet. The atmosphere is enjoyable - the music isn't overbearing ( you can visit without yelling) - the staff professional and friendly - everything is kept up. I like the sirloin with baked potato- medium rare - they always cook it spot on - it is juicy - not oily. Now if someone would open one up in Mason City / Clear Lake near I 35 that would be appreciated.
