This place is a hidden gem. Even though it’s not hidden but right off of Kimberly. Our waiter was very attentive and welcoming. The food was amazing! I had always looked for a place that would serve one of my favorite plates, crab legs. The combination rice was also great. Not too expensive either considering everything has gone up. We will definitely be going back.

the seafood here tastes great. I like the potato with Cajun-flavored paste. The shrimps are big and fresh. Waiters are polite and helpful. Will come for a second time!

Best seafood in the Quad Cities. Red Lobster don't even compare. Quality seafood always comes at a price. It was worth every penny. This was our third visit in 3 weeks. My fiance usually don't like seafood. She eats it from here.

Red flags going into "Yummy Crab" include the windows being covered in huge stock pictures of food and the word "SEAFOOD" on the sign being larger than the name of the place. However, benefit of the doubt, we tried it. Wait staff were all very nice and our waiter did a good job. The food was Chinese buffet seafood in a plastic bag with tons of butter and fresh garlic. Aside from the sign and giant photos, the menus had "Come w/ potato and corn." Okay, someone has a bit of an issue with English. In my opinion, there is an effort here to have all of the wait staff and anyone in view of customers to not be the same ethnicity as the owners and cooks. Perhaps there's concern that people will jump to conclusions based off ethnicity. I assessed the caliber of food from eating the food. Aside from the good potatoes, decent corn, and not too bad shrimp, the crab was squarely in the corner of being Chinese buffet crab. If you have had that, then you know. This wasn't as overboiled, but my guess is that it comes from the same source that supplies similar establishments. The hope in going to Yummy Crab is that it would be better seafood than Red Lobster, it was not, but you'll spend the same. This is better than Long John Silver's and is perhaps better than fixing it yourself unless you know what you're doing and want to cook.
