The food was pretty good but the atmosphere was kind of lacking. The tofu could also have been better simply by frying/sauteing it rather than just throwing chunks in the broth. I was also bothered by watching the staff cooking the food eating with their gloves on and not changing them after.
The lunch today was wonderful. Glad the choice of Rice or Glass noodles were available for the gluten free(Celiac) people. Found it very filling with amazing flavors. My husband had the pork dumplings and the shrimp dumpling and just loved them. We’ll be back for more!
My wife an I have been a fan of Soi 2 for a while, but Soi 3 in downtown Davenport inspires my love of any sort of Asian noodle soup! We've had several of the dishes there, including the dumplings and the amazing Tom Yum Noodles, and everything is great. Everyone is friendly and excited to see you, and the service is great.
We took our noodles to go one evening, and the plastic (and recyclable) containers were perfect for the dishes.
This is definitely going to be one of our top places to frequent for lunch or dinner downtown.
I just happened to go here for lunch on the first day of their soft opening! This is a little noodle shop, which is just dandy by me. Those familiar with Soi 2 in Rock Island will welcome this addition Davenport-side. The noodle soups my party got were all tasty. Be warned that the spice level is serious - I got a one pepper dish and loved it. Service was friendly. Portions a little small, but that could just be lunch. Check it out!
