“It's the train and Barnes & Noble that brings us back. Less & less shops, parking that needs repair and outdated decor. We may shop at the other shops but it's kind of depressing. Management needs to understand that if they want to bring in people they need to have shops that appeal to a variety of people, light and airy and a feeling of safety. There are too many places within a few hours that have better shopping experiences for Northpark to stay stagnant.”

“Been here many times and have always enjoyed the food. Sunday 6/9/19 was a glaring u-turn. We ordered simple beef tacos. They were extremely bland and flavorless. With hot sauce added I didn't finish the two I ordered. What was totally unacceptable was the server. I was with a friend and we have an agreement, one pays and the other leaves the tip. My friend paid with credit and while we were still seated finishing our drinks, the server returned with the charge ticket and wanted to know why there was no tip entry. I said I would leave it on the table. He said he was leaving and wanted it now. I try to be reasonable and he did serve us well. As a result I obliged, but eliminated the 4 Azteca restaurants from getting my business.”

Gyros had a good meat to sauce ratio and a decent pita. French fries were good and hot. Will return and try their other Chicago style items. Parking is tight in the small strip mall location.”

“This is the go-to grocery in downtown. The prices really aren't that unreasonable for not being a supermarket and the service is good. A bit dirty however but not bad. Because there aren't any other grocery stores in the area, of course, poor people also go there but so what. They have a little of everything and that is very useful. I have never seen beggars outside.”
