“Miss Pam seems to brighten anyone's day she comes in contact with!! I hadn't been to this establishment in a year. I remember, I wasn't impressed with the burgers and my husband and I are pretty sure, they made us sick. Well, I got fresh coupons in the mail and decided to give it another try, but the new handbreaded chicken sandwich/fries/ Dr pepper. I walked in and Pam was running around busy with something, but immediately took time to say hello with genuine warmth. I said "Hi, how are you today?" She piped up "Great! Thank you for ASKING!" So she took my order and then tried to apply the coupon, and it didn't work, but with out missing a beat she said, "Well we'll just have to do it the other way!" In a split second it was done! So then she asked the back to drop a fresh chicken. Then a lady came in and called for Pam and Pam said, "I'll be right there, I have to drop these fries first!" She then went to the back a gave the lady a sack, obviously, full of tomatoes. When the lady had left, she said that she had worked with her for years, and she was a little down on her luck so she shares her tomatoes with her. I was struck by her warm giving energy! I said I would pay for some! She said, come in anytime I'm working, I always have some and I'll share with you too. Might I mention that my meal was the hottest and freshest and the store was spotless!”

“I stay in Fort Dodge several times a year on company business. This was my first time trying Olde Boston's. The Cavatappi Rustica was absolutely delicious, with a very generous portion belying the $11 price. Dessert was a slice of strawberry cheesecake, which was perfection on a plate. And the few cocktails I had were surprisingly strong (not complaining!) compared to what most restaurants serve. Staff was polite and accommodating as well. Thank you for being open during the current crisis. I will definitely remember you the next time I'm in town.”
