El Jalapeño Mexican Restaurant

This place was better than I had expected for a small town. I really do appreciate their food and the extreme cleanliness of the bldg and servitude of the staff.

Be prepared for a lot of choices. Almost too many. But the food was definitely decent and the next time we're in town to visit the motorcycle museum we're definitely going to pop by.

The service was great and the food was very good. Not only that, but I left my credit card at the restaurant and when I called the next day from where we were on the road, they offered to mail it to me. Then they sent me a photo of the envelope, stamped and ready to go with my credit card. This is service above and beyond.

Place has really good food the portions are nothing to laugh at. They are very attentive and it is a good place to relax for a few minutes why you have a nice meal.. the bathrooms are very clean. I was impressed

Where do I start? My mouth starts watering just thinking about El Jalepeno! We have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, and recently found the money to do so, and we splurged for a late anniversary dinner. My husband had a combo, and I decided to try the chicken chimichanga. By the time it got to me it was just a firmer burrito, and I would not recommend ordering it for take out if you're craving that slightly toasted crunchy texture. The flavor was still amazing, and it lasted me for two days. My husband really dislikes Spanish rice but he really enjoyed it here. I can't wait to try other options the next time we take out, or dine in.

Dined in alone on a Wednesday at 1130a. I guess this place is part of, or located inside of, or directly next to the Dusty Farmer motel or something... anyhow went in the front door... was immediately greeted and seated.

The place is beautiful, new, clean and modern inside. I was seated in a booth that looked like it had never been used before, that's how new it looked.

I ordered a chicken taco salad with no sour cream. I got up to use the rest room and the food beat me to the table, after only like 2 minutes away... man this place is fast.

And they were fairly full and fairly busy. And every tables food appeared to be flying out. Kudos to anyone who has their restaurant systems and processes down to this level of efficiency... they obviously get it.

The food tasted good. The taco salad was made with shredded lettuce which is an odd choice I don't see often, maybe they were out of salad mix. And the shredded chicken could have been drained a little better before they put it in the taco salad bowl. But no complaints. It tasted great.

The facility is new, clean and modern. The staff were polite and professional. The food tasted great. The service was lightening fast and the price was more than reasonable. I would definitely eat here again. Great small town Mexican restaurant.
