We had not eaten here since the changeover. Can't wait until real grilled steak is available. Congrats to the Munson family and best of luck!!!

The food was Excellent!! They were short staffed but our waiter was wonderful!! Make sure you have a reservation. People walking in were turned away without one. My only complaint was not being greeted at the front door by a Hostess and waited in line before someone came to seat us.

We went to Legacy Kansas lastnight for the soft opening of the new bar. We were very impressed! We were just planning on grabbing a drink but when they told us about the specials, we decided to try them. I had a cheeseburger that was delicious. My daughter had the chicken with all of the amazing sides, so good! My bestie had a steak, which was cooked to perfection. Our bartender was so friendly and our servers were fantastic. We will be back! So happy to have this restaurant choice in our town!

I give this 5 stars because the entire experience was wonderful! We were seated and asked what meat we'd like to have and our drinks We ordered the beef and the chicken. It was all delicious and big portions! Our server had several tables but she kept our drinks full, was friendly and let us know the status of our food. The hotel and restaurant were very clean and beautiful. You can tell the food was homemade and quality made. And the ice cream was a special added touch.

NOTE the former Brookville Hotel is now called Legacy Kansas. And, as of 12/1/22, you have to have reservations.
Overall a great first experience. Restaurant is being remodeled, but looks nice so far. Very traditional decor. The relish stuff was amazing-cottage cheese, peaches, pickles, cinnamon apples, cole slaw. Amazing. And the fried chicken and mashed potatoes (real, not instant) and gravy were great. The minute steak was also very good with a wonderful sauce. Service was quick and friendly.
