    We were fortunate to find this place as we passed through the area and stopped for breakfast. Best biscuits and gravy so far on our trip! Plus it was Brigitte’s birthday! Lots of locals there to celebrate with her. In honor of her special day, we were given an incredible huge cinnamon roll to share. A great memory stop!

    Simple little café. The jagerschnitzel was amazing; very good portions. Everything, from what I could tell, was homemade. If the owner, Brigitte, doesn't know you, be ready for alot of direct questions. Very unique atmosphere. 😀

    Great place -good food- good service -take a look at the menu! Monday Liver and onion. TUESday BAKED CHICKEN. WEDNESDAY SCHNITZEL AND GERMAN POTATO SALAD THURSDAY BBQ RIBS CORN AND BEANS - FRIDAY FISH AND FRIES- SATURDAY SCHNITZEL AND HOMEMADE NOODLES ALSO EVERY DAY BURGERS ,,CHICKEN STRIPS -CURRY WURST-EVERY OTHER SAT. ROLLADEN AND POTATO DUMBLINGS.

    We used to eat here on Sundays after church with my grandparents. This brought back a lot of good memories. So glad to have Brigitte back. Delicious food as always. Come hungry because the portions are big and spice cake for dessert!

    We stopped here for lunch on MON., 11-23-2020.
    This is a great small town diner. My wife had the liver & onions, which she said tasted great. I had a burger & fries, did not leave hungry.
    I hear the schnitzel is great if you stop by on a Wednesday or Saturday, I am looking forward to returning for that.
