Mez does a great job operating a complex business. Maybe as well as anyone in the city. There is a calmness about the place that you will not see often. Great food and staff. Current favorite....Spaghetti and Meatballs. Cooked to perfection. Excellent balance. Thanks guys!

We usually love north so we decided to do the Lasagna meal kit for Mothers Day. Overall the food was good but several issues with the take home kit. It said it served 4-6 people There wasn't even enough salad for 3 people let alone up to 6. The lasagna was good and cooking it was a breeze. The bread was also very good. The tiramisu however was a complete disaster It looked like they just through a bunch of lady fingers in a box and put some topping on it. It was nothing like you get in the restaurant. Only the very bottom layer of lady fingers were soaked. This made the desert hard to eat as most of them were hard and had no flavor. Thank goodness we had a backup desert from dolce bakery.

Ordered a lunch take out for our anniversary. It was great. Couldn't dine inside because covid situation. My only little comment would be crispy calamari.Because we were driving to Lees Summit they were not really crispy after we got home. Our mistake we were not really think about that. Other dished were excellent. We hope pretty soon we will have chance to go inside and enjoy your excellent food and service.

I love that place a lot. And go there quite a lot. But yesterday I ordered a salad and asked not to put there cheese. And on the bottom of my salad plate was cheese cubes. So I actually ate one before I figure out what was it, as the salad has a lot of ingredients, so it’s almost impossible to see what is what. And when I told it to the waitress she told me that it’s good that chunks of cheese are big, so I could see them)))
I am lucky that I don’t have an allergy to the dairy products.... I am only sensitive to it. But for people with allergies it can be very bad experience!!
but the other times that I was there it was always very nice experience and people who work there was always very nice.

Absolutely fabulous experience! The food is ALWAYS so fresh and delicious and the drinks are fantastic as well. The restaurant has a great relaxed atmosphere and the staff is always super friendly. Definitely a date night favorite for my hubby and myself. The caramel dessert is a decadent must and the perfect recommendation from our server, Lena, to end our meal. As always, we can’t wait to come back!
