Katie and the crew exude excellence! The food is better than "to die for"! The helpfulness, thought, care and smiles for their customers are above top notch. Highly recommend to anybody that enjoys great food!
I miss Chewology sooooo much!!! I can’t wait until I can get back there from Topeka!!! Katie, your team is amazing and your food is superb!!!! I plan trip soon!!! Love Chewology!!! Hang in there!! Love you all Debby (Austins mom!) ❤️❤️❤️
I didn't know what dumplings were supposed to taste like until we went here. The food is absolutely tremendous. Don't be afraid of their limited menu. Small menus indicate a specially and true exceptionalism. The staff took the time to answer, and explain, all of my silly questions.
Seriously. If you're looking to have a gourmet meal at reasonable prices then try this location out. The atmosphere is a little cafeteria-y but the food experience is memorable and remarkable. I assure you, you'll regret not going.
Y’all need to try this place! We went there today and ordered an assortment of things:
- Honey Apricot Goat Cheese Dumplings (aka Gyoza): delicate balls of clearly house-made dough stuffed with creamy goat cheese and set atop an egg wash doily. So chewy, creamy with a touch of apricot jam.
- Poke Bowl: these are everywhere now but this was the best I’ve had in KC. Pickled veggies, tuna, and soy soaked boiled egg.
- Bao Bun: or steamed pork bun, was soft and chewy. Unlike most that have a minuscule amount of questionable meat, these have a juicy pork meatball nestled inside.
Great food and super nice people!
Had the Omaha’s, chefs choice and two beef dumplings. The bowl was ramen and pork. It was incredible. The dumplings are good, just really big with more dough than I should have eaten. Great place with a food court atmosphere but plenty of seating so you can all get something different and sit together.
