“We stopped in yesterday for lunch and had a great meal. After seeing all the reviews about the delicious Chicago deep dish pizza, we had to give it a shot. And it did not disappoint. The only potential negative for us is the drink options. We don't love drinking out of plastic bottles and there was no ice available for soft drinks. So we took advantage of the wait and ran to Casey's across the street to get a cup of ice. That leveled up the bottled Pepsi for sure! This is a nice spot with really good food. I will likely return to try the lunch special at some point as well.”

“Although friendly, I had to repeat my order of two drinks several times of one large and one small. I got charged correctly but received both smalls. Asked if they honored punch cards, she took it and gave it back without any added punches - not a huge deal but annoying that the small details are over looked. Especially when they were not busy. Drinks were yummy and the girl was polite so that’s why the 3 stars and not 1 star. Not my best experience there.”

“Happy to find a place near our home to enjoy a good pizza. It was our first time just me and my wife. Will bring the kids on another occasion. We had the tuna tartar as appetizer. It was good. The pizzas were awesome. I would just order a side of oregano next time. And more arugula please!! The best thing is the gluten free option which had a great taste and nothing to envy a normal wheat based crust. We had the Supremo Pizza and the Fig & Prosciutto. Totally recommended. “Anna loves BBQ , I rarely don’t finish my plate, I didn’t finish this one. Let’s talk about why they only got three stars . The corn had cheese in it but not good cheese. The fries were steak fries. Plain steak fries. I had the burnt end which were delicious but overall not worth the 18$ I paid for my plate meal. My 14 year old devoured his Turkey sandwich and fries but let’s face it, he would of devoured a McDonald’s meal too. So for the price vs the quality of food for me not worth it .”

“My latest visit we went in for a few drinks and appetizers after work on a Friday. Walked in at 2:30 or 3 needing a table for 8 with no reservation. Even though they were slammed with reservations the hostess got us in for a limited time of 2 hours (plenty of time for what we were doing). The food and drinks here are always excellent. Definitely try the cherry limeade mule if you haven't! It won't disappoint.”

“If you love Cantonese cuisine or just Chinese food in general you have to try Monkey King! We tried a couple different dishes and everything was out of this world. By far the best pork belly and duck I've had in KC. Despite getting takeout, all the crispy items were still super crunchy and delicious. Even the fried rice was amazing (we got the Crazy Monkey). We will definitely be recommending this to all our friends and we'll be back for more ourselves!”
