Monkey King BBQ & Noodle

Name is #1. Great name. BBQ monkey is much better than you would expect. I recommend the bbq monkey on the funn noodles with black bean sauce.
Oh, wait. My wife just said it was chicken chow fun. Not monkey. Thought it tasted like chicken...was just about to say that.
All joking aside. Food and service were excellent and it was some of the best Cantonese I've had in KC.

Great food, excellent service. A very nice, clean restaurant offering wonderful Chinese faire at quite reasonable prices. The servers will even offer some good options if you're undecided about what to order.
I love the Kung Pow Chicken in black bean sauce. Enjoy.

My wife and I love the roasted duck here! Super crispy and juicy. The first bite gets me every time :))

A welcome change to your standard Chinese fare at comparable prices. Service was prompt, courteous, and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that loves Chinese food and is ready for some variety.

If you love Cantonese cuisine or just Chinese food in general you have to try Monkey King! We tried a couple different dishes and everything was out of this world. By far the best pork belly and duck I've had in KC. Despite getting takeout, all the crispy items were still super crunchy and delicious. Even the fried rice was amazing (we got the Crazy Monkey).

We will definitely be recommending this to all our friends and we'll be back for more ourselves!
